Welcome to Japanese Ryokan Kashima Honkan in Fukuoka City.

Our Ryokan (Japanese style Inn) is built in Sukiya-zukuri style. This type of architecture represents the elements of a Japanese tea ceremony.
Our building was registered as "Tangible Cultural Property" by Japanese government in May of 2007 for its traditional and excellent architecture.
We have our own enclosed Japanese traditional garden and here you can feel atmosphere of the Taishou Period (1911-1924).

Location:

We are located in downtown Fukuoka City, you can easily to get the main attractions such as "Canal City Hakata" and more by walk.
Canal City Hakata is one of the biggest amusement centers in the world which is really close to our Ryokan.
There are also many old temples and Shinto shrines in this area.
